Eric Carle’s beautiful story The Very Hungry Caterpillar is perfect for young children and for their parents as well. This story follows a small caterpillar as he decides that he’s going to keep eating and eating even more. He’s decided that he’s not full until he eats more and more. In this story you’ll see everything that he decides to eat in an array of colorful and vibrant photographs. There are more things going on than you may think in this story and there’s plenty to keep a young child entertained and occupied.

What’s for Dinner?

The caterpillar is looking for something good to eat and he’s looking for something that will help him feel more full and feel happier as well. It’s going to take more than just a little bit to eat for the caterpillar to be done and for him to become large enough to actually be a butterfly. But of course the little caterpillar doesn’t know that he’s going to someday become a butterfly. All he knows is that he just can’t seem to get enough to eat no matter what he eats.

For the hungry caterpillar it’s going to take more fruit and meat and sweets than it would for most people to be full and in the end something amazing is going to happen to him. For children this story will keep them interested because The Very Hungry Caterpillar is just like they are, still hungry until he finally grows up. When he does he’ll be happy and better off than ever. For children this is a story about continuing to grow and continuing to advance through life.

If you’re interested in a book for any child in your life then this could be the first book you want to try. It’s something that’s easy to read and something that will be able to help them learn to read as well because of the simple words. But the storyline of this story will keep you from getting bored because it actually has an interesting story that will continue to follow along for a long time to come. It’s something children have been reading for a large number of years and it’s a story that will continue to be loved by children as they have children of their own. The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a story that spans generations and keeps children interested in learning.

Eric Carle’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar is one that I know my parents read to me and my siblings for a very long time. Actually it was one of my favorite books as a child and my parents read it to me so often that I had the book pretty much memorized before I even knew how to read. Once I learned how to read I would flip through this book and read it to myself nearly every day because I was so in love with it. Now I just hold on to my copy and wait to have my own children that I can read it to.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Clare is the quintessential children’s book. It’s sweet and it’s also very interesting. It was perfect for young children who are too young to read or barely old enough to read because it has great pictures and only a few words to it. I’m reading this book to my children and I know that they absolutely love it too. After all, what’s not to love? The hungry caterpillar is such a great character for children to follow along with and he’s one that they will really like too because he’s sweet and he’s cute as well.
