Anastasia and Christian are back in Fifty Shades Darker by E. L. James. Fifty Shades Darker continues the story of Anastasia and Christian and their interesting relationship by contract. Of course the contract is starting to lose its value. The two of them are starting to rethink the idea of following the contract. Anastasia wants to be in a real relationship but Christian is afraid to get rid of all the rules and restrictions that the contract puts into place. Christian has much to do if he’s going to change his mind about the contract and it’s going to take a lot on Anastasia’s part to convince him of it.

The Contract

The agreement between Anastasia and Christian has always stipulated what they can and cannot do. It’s stipulated their sex life and their dating life as well as the way that Anastasia is to behave at all times. But a shy girl in most ways, Anastasia does not want to follow the rules the way she has before. She’s determined to get something else out of this relationship or she just may walk away from it forever. But will Christian just let her walk away from a contract that she signed?

Things are starting to get a little crazy for Christian and Anastasia besides just deciding what to do about the contract. They are going to have to deal with some of Christian’s ex-girlfriends as well. Because those ex-girlfriends aren’t quite as out of his life as Anastasia would like them to be. Fifty Shades Darker looks at ways a relationship can change completely from something simply artificial to something far deeper because what’s happening between Christian and Anastasia is developing into something more like love than just a contract for sex.

When does a contract become something more? The day that Christian decides the contract will be thrown out the window and the two of them will have a true relationship is the day that things in their lives completely change. They will both need to make changes and they will definitely both need to make some concessions because Christian is not used to having a ‘normal’ relationship. This book will help you to understand both of these characters far better than ever before and will also help you to really get drawn into the story. They aren’t done yet and even after this book the story will continue.

    E. L. James has really helped pull readers in with Fifty Shades Darker. Readers will definitely keep wanting to learn more. Anastasia is just as captivating as ever in the course of this story and then there’s Christian of course who I have to say I couldn’t really help from falling for. He’s really a great person underneath all the terrible things that he does and of course the weird stuff that got this book a bad rap. It’s so interesting to read and it’s something that nearly everyone is still reading. I started reading the third book right away.

Fifty Shades Darker by E. L. James was definitely a good book and one that helped me to really understand the way that Anastasia and Christian developed their relationship. It was amazing the way that they were able to change from having a purely sexual and contracted relationship to having something more than that. Christian really draws you in and Anastasia is one of those people that I can really relate to. This is something that I couldn’t seem to put down and it was definitely something I would recommend to my friends. It’s not all about the sex like most people say but about relationships too.
