Is Google’s Chromecast good value for money?

MOST of us have tablets these days. Whether it’s for work, play or a bit of both; we all enjoy having what is essentially a slab of electronic genius in our hands. There are so many things to do on tablets that help and entertain us, but occasionally we grow tired of looking at that tiny screen and often want something bigger and easier to see, not to mention allowing our family and friends to join in. Now, Google has effectively told tablet owners that they no longer need to be confined to their 8.9″ screens and can happily enjoy ‘streaming’ content from their tablet to the big screen. I’d say the Chromecast isn’t necessary for your tablet/pc, but [...]

Apple technology; the best the world has ever seen

Apple technology showcased

Apple technology is currently the best technology in history. Its success is not only manifested in its exquisite iphone brands but also in the nature of its stores. When you visit an apple store today, you will be mesmerized by its beautiful interior as well as the exterior design. A typical Apple store for example the one located in San Diego has an attractive interior design with a unique arrangement of its items that will coerce you into buying an item or two. SoundHound Review

SoundHound is a mobile app that’s used widely for identifying and tagging a tune that’s playing at the moment of speaking, or for recognizing a song sang or hummed by the user. SoundHound is available in a free version and an add-free upgrade – SoundHound ~ for US $5.99. SoundHound is present on the market since 2009. My focus in this post will be directed to the current version that I’m using – SoundHound 6.5.0b-29937 Android Version.

SoundHound is very easy to set-up, with simple and user-friendly but in my opinion kind of unattractive interface. Right after you install the app you can start singing, humming, or play a song for it to hear and [...]

Shazam Review: You want to know what is the song that’s playing?

Shazam is a mobile app that’s used widely for tagging or identifying a song that’s playing at the moment. The app has a free version and an upgrade called Shazam Encore that costs US $5.35. Shazam is present since 1999 and has changed and evolved a lot through the years. I won’t focus on it’s history, but on the current version that I’m using – Shazam 5.3.3 Android Version.

Shazam is pretty user-friendly, with simple and kind of cute interface and a very easy set-up. When you install Shazam on your device, the app asks you if you want to sign up with Shazam in order to receive your tags by email. This is optional since the app can be [...]
