Jet Airways India Ltd is an airline based in the Indian city of Mumbai and operates regional and international flights, in particular approximately 330 daily flights to 50 destinations in 7 countries (including India itself). Its hub is the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport of Mumbai, highlighting within their network the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, the Chennai International Airport, and the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose of Calcutta Airport, center of their operations in Europe.
The airline was founded as the operator of aero taxi services on April 1, 1992, not starting their commercial flights until May 5 of 1993 with a fleet of 4 Boeing 737-300. In January 1994, a legal reform allowed the airline to request the status of regular airline flights, which was granted on January 4, 1995. It began international operations in March 2004 with their first flights to Sri Lanka. After overcoming some difficulties, the company carried out the plan announced in January 2006 to be with its rival Air Sahara.
The company promises to make your flying experience extraordinary and operates two classes of service on their local routes, Economy and Premiere. While on global routes, the airline offers four styles of travel, specifically Economy Class, Cabin Class, First Class, and Premiere (Business) Class.
