Enter the main article for your first review article (500 words minimum): It is a obvious observation that the smart-phone market is being flooded with devices having enormous screen sizes, some even go as far as saying that bigger screen sizes are the latest trend but when it comes to regular usage, this feature poses a difficulty. So, in an attempt to provide a phone with almost all the good features packed in a relatively smaller size, Sony has come up with the newest addition to the Xperia series, the Z3 Compact. Coming out as the smaller version of the latest flagship, let us find out how far it can go in impressing the consumers.
Design
The hardware design has not changed much since the flagship Z series. In this case too, the design is rectangular with pillowed periphery. Although it does not stand out in its design, the specs are what result in its brilliance. The front and back side of the phone is made of tempered glass panels with metal encased camera, earphone jack and power key. The back of the phone has a premium feel to it, the silver Sony logo, gray NFC symbol and a small LED flash next to the primary camera sensor. Sony has also installed two stero speaker on the front side of the device.
Camera
The camera is another thing to brag about this Smartphone. Xperia Z3 compact has a 20.7 MP camera with 1/2.3 inch Exmor RS sensor giving 5248 x 3936 pixels resolution to the pictures. The front camera is however, just 2.2 MP which can disappoint the ‘selfie-lovers’ a bit. The editing options are interesting though which allow you to change almost all the details from ISO setting to smile detection as well as resolution. All these options are made much more interesting and easy with Viewfinder.  So if you can tolerate average selfies, then this phone is one of the best Smartphone you can get for photography.
Specs
There is another silver Sony logo sitting above the 4.6 inch, 720 x 1280 and 319ppi display, which is enhanced by X-Reality Triluminos viewing. On the sides you have physical buttons on the right edge only which includes a volume rocker, a power key and a two-stage camera button. The left edge is flanked by two sealed spaces hiding the nano-SIM tray and the micro-SD slot and USB port. The performance of this phone is outstandingly fast as well as smooth owing to the 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with Adreno 330 GPU. This small monster runs on Android v4.4.4 KitKat, which can be upgraded to v5.0 Lollipop too. Sony has installed 2 GB internal RAM in the device to ensure lag free interface and smooth multi-tasking.

Other Features
If all these specifications are not enough to convince you why it is one of the best buys out there, then here are some more features to sway away the doubts: the screen is made of shatter proof glass, Z3 compact has a decent battery life (2600 mAh) with a fast charging  feature (up to 60% in just 30 mins), 16GB internal memory expandable to 128GB using microSD, complete NFC support, and is made dust and water resistant for over 1 meter and 30 minutes, having certified with IP68 etc.
So all in all, if you are looking for an amazing smart-phone stacked full with superb features in a mid to  semi-high end range, then we would suggest that you look no further for this device gives you everything in a smaller but beautifully sturdy encasing.
