You are able to Instantly implicate some of his legit and quite well working methods. They are simple, but not easy.

Negatives:

Not every method and technique works. you must choose wisely and think rational about your goals and expectations.

Final thoughts:

To put the whole into a nutshell, it is a average book. Some new ideas may help you in your life, but some also do simply not work that well. However, the sleep tips and tricks as well as some rehab/prehab techniques (Egoscue method) are awesome and should help about everyone. You can benefit from it, I'm sure. So, if you are looking for some new input to your life or your fitness journey, buy this book.

The 4 Hour Body by  Timothy Ferriss, an entrepreneur, #1 New York Times bestselling author, deals with methods and techniques to obtain good health, a nice physique and outlines basic diet/training information.

His book is a toolbox about general fitness and health. You must must decide which desire you have and follow his method. But be aware, some methods don’t work well. If something is too good to be true, be aware. For example the Casey Viator experiment is not well-researched. Do your own research first. In contrast, his sleep tips and especially the “further reading” section is worth alone 10 bucks. Almost everyone struggles with sleep and he gives practical advise to solve some problems with your sleep.

Moreover his diet advise has great value. I used his diet and had great success with it. It is basically a paleo/caveman diet( no gluten, sweeets etc.) plus beans. It is simple and it works. I lost 5 pounds and got leaner almost instantly over days. It is definitely worth a try. Great for bodybuilders, powerlifters or genereal strength training people.

Furthermore the Bench press program is just fantastic. He works with the best strength and conditioning trainers of the world like John Romano, Mark Bell and Joe DeFranco and built a great program. I increased my bench press with up to 50lbs/25kg. I’m quite sure that this works for many people.

 

All in all, it is good for people who want progress in some parts of their lifes. This might be sleep or diet. But be aware of too much advertising and odd methods. As with everything in life, first think and then act.
